Campaign to encourage active participation among young people

As the closing output of the Pact4EU project, we prepared an advocacy publication that summarizes the experiences and lessons learned throughout the project.

The aim of the publication is to demonstrate how young people can be effectively engaged and involved in topics related to the European Union, with a particular focus on the importance of participation at the local level.

A central element of the publication is the emphasis on the fact that the active participation of young people is essential in European public life. It is not only about being informed on how the EU works, but also about having the opportunity to express their opinions and have them taken into account in decision-making processes.

Local initiatives and community participation play a key role in bringing young people closer to EU-related issues.

It is particularly important that the leadership of the EU listens to the voices of young people, as they not only represent the future generation but are also directly affected by current social and economic processes. Involving young people contributes to strengthening democratic legitimacy and ensuring that decisions respond to real societal needs. The Pact4EU publication aims to reinforce and promote this approach.
